A broken bus is a good thing

Yesterday we took a bus to a little town known for its pottery about an hour from Granada.  This place was really interesting.  We watched them throw, carve, polish, and fire the pots.  After we watched the artisans for a while, we found out our bus broke down.  Ironically, this turned out to be the best part of the day.  While waiting for them to fix the bus we ended up playing with all the kids in the town.  We played some soccer, shared our food and had the kids teach us a little Spanish.  We gave the bus driver for the area some money to buy the kids a new ball, he was excited about the idea.  The ball they were playing with was tattered and flat.  Please check out this website to help other kids around the world play soccer:  Little Feet

After the bus was fixed a couple hours later we went to see another volcano, crater lake and bat caves.  A great day!
