A Break in the Rain | Kolkata, India

The rain here in Kolkata has been pretty relentless.  I usually try to wake up around sunrise to get in a few hours of photography before working, but the rain just keeps coming.  I did manage to get out for just a few minutes when the weather was oscillating between drizzle and sprinkle.  Even with the rain eased a bit, I still managed to drop my lens cap crossing a flooded street.  As I write this, my 35mm lens cap is probably floating in the Bay of Bengal.  I’ve said this before, but India is one of the most photogenic places in the world, Kolkata is no exception.  Same great colors, culture, architecture, yet a distinctively unique vibe from other parts of India.  Next time I’m here I hope to get to many more places of the city that the flooded streets and sheets of rain prevented me to get to.Limes for Sale | Kolkata, India

Thanks Wendy. All the furniture and accessories we are working on have been inspired by these colors. I hope people will want them in their homes. Fingers crossed.

Love the way the fruit displays are made more interesting to draw attention. Mangos in netting, dangling limes.
