There is also many animals in Chobe other than elephants.  We saw hundreds of hippos wading in the water and feeding on the thick grass.   It was also a common sight to see crocodiles near by sunning themselves on the bank of the river.  Of course, we also spotted the usual suspects such as giraffes, baboons, water buffalo etc. That evening we set up our camp within the park.   Late at night we could hear roars of lions and crunching branches from the elephant heard behind us.  It goes without saying that we were to stay in the tent.  Our guide said that if you absolutely have to go, go behind the tent.  You also have to shine your flashlight before getting out.  If you see white shining eyes close to the ground it's okay, if you see yellow eyes, it's a lion and STAY IN THE TENT.  Luckily, from months of travel we now have bladders of steal, there was no need to fight off the animal kingdom to relieve ourselves.  Be sure to check back tomorrow, we will be posting our newest video which includes some close encounters with grumpy elephants.
