Monte Verde is our first stop in Costa Rica. This area was settled by Quakers once Costa Rica decided to eliminate its military. This area is now almost exclusively a natural reserve. The rain forest is very dense and almost always encased in clouds, hence “cloud forest.” It was very dreary and misty when we went on a forest tour. Meggan took some unbelievable macro photos. She was very inspired by the natural patterns and design of the plants for future projects.
In 2008 we (Meggan and Beau) set out to see the world and start a business. Since then we have visited 48 countries and we’re just getting started. Travel and design go hand in hand. Whether we’re on the other side of the planet, or down the street we always find things to inspire us.

Meggan, your pictures from the forest are amazing!
