Favorite Activities - South America

- A life time experience... hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru.  We did our tour threw GAP Adventures.  The porters were treated well and GAP gives back to their community.  GAP Adventures

- Trekking on Perito Mereno Glacier in Patagonia, Argentina.  You can book tours as soon as you get to the town of El Calafate.  There are agencies up and down the main street.  If you are worried about availability you could work threw your hotel.

- Boat ride adventure at Iguassu Falls in Brazil.  You can purchase your tickets for this adventure at the entrance to the National Park.

- Visiting Evita Tomb at the Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

- Attending a Boca Jr. Football (soccer for the US people) Game in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  You hotel can help you set this up.     

Favorite Activities - Central America

- Horseback riding in the mountains on a organic self sustaining ranch in Copan, Honduras. We arranged this tour through Via Via Cafe.

- Taking surfing lessons in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Good Times Surf Shop

- Hiking a volcano and seeing red hot lava in Antigua, Guatemala.  There are several local tour agencies that can arrange this for you.  Don't pay more than $5-$7 USD... and be ready for a hard workout climbing up Pacaya!

- Volcano boarding in Leon, Nicaragua. You can arrange this tour through Big Foot Hostel.

- Zip line adventure in Monte Verde, Costa Rica.  Extremo Canopy Tours
