Green in the Blue City

Jodhpur is known as the blue city, but I managed find some examples of green among all the blue.

When I see a bikes, I usually take a picture of them.  I’m not sure why, I just do, I like bikes.  In the first photo, I saw these bikes happened to be leaning on a really nice green wall, next to a really cool looking guy wearing a green shirt.  I asked him if I could take his photo, he graciously answered with a smile, nod and then touched his hand to his heart.  I hope this photo does justice to his kind gesture.

There are amazing doors and windows wherever you look in Rajasthan.  I loved this green door behind the blue arches.
This photo is pretty funny.  The man holding the baby was responsible for this group portrait.  He has a little shop that appeared to be a incense packaging shop.  He was busy packaging when he saw me taking photos (of a bike or a door would be a good guess).  He wrangled up all his kids, and maybe his extended family’s kids for a photo.  All the kids were playing some kind of imaginary laser tag with one gun, seen pointed directly at you/me in this photo.  What I find funny about this is the only people smiling are the man, the baby and the kid with the gun.  Either they weren’t happy taking a break from the game, or they know something I don’t.
Another gentleman with a green shirt.  This is his shop/newsstand.  After agreeing to have his photo taken, he grabbed a paper and began reading.  So I guess this is a posed shot to look not-so-posed.
