Currently, The World Effect consists of two people: Beau and Meggan. We recently got married in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We are now traveling around the world.

Meggan: First, I would like to thank our family and friends for supporting us on our past adventures and now our ATW journey. Beau and I are lucky in the fact that our family and friends were not surprised when we told them that we were going to pack up our things, put them in storage and leave to travel the world. My parents are artists and nomads, so I guess its in my genes. I was born in Colorado but I would say I grew up in Florida and Tennessee. All of that time was also cut in half by Hawaii. I attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for Interior Design and moved to Atlanta, Georgia after graduation in 2001 to work. Then in 2006, I moved out to Colorado. For the past 8 years, I have had the pleasure of designing beautiful hotels and resorts while working for some pretty amazing design firms. I believe my passion for design, photography, art and food will only grow on this journey. I hope our trip will also help to inspire you in your day to day life and your dreams. Stay tuned...
From Beau: I grew up in Colorado and went to the business school at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Although I have never lived too far from home, I have traveled extensively and I'm always looking forward to the next place to see. I have worked in the outdoor apparel industry for the last 10 years. I co-owned and operated a large sales agency in the Rocky Mountains. My interests are in art, books, outdoor activities and photography. I'm also a gadget junkee, for the last few months I've been learning about the world of blogging, video editing and animating graphics for this website. It's definitely a work in progress.
